Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic audiologist / clinical scientist to join us to develop their clinical and leadership skills across one of our specialist areas of our IQIPS accredited audiology service.
There are opportunities to develop specialised clinical skills within a range of areas, such as our paediatric and balance services and we would welcome a conversation with the right applicant about where they might fit best.
Main duties of the job
The main duties are to take part in a range of clinics within the department and take part in service improvement projects.

Person specification
Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Has Audiology PTP or equivalent
- Is registered with either AHCS or HCPC
- Evidence of further clinical training
Desirable criteria
- MSc in Audiology
- STP or HTS modules in appropriate area
- Eligible for HTS training (specifies BAA membership)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Appropriate post PTP/BSc clinical experience
- Experience with complex adult caseload
- Experience of working with routine paediatric patients
Desirable criteria
- Experience of training others
- Experience of service development or audit
Communication
Essential criteria
- Evidence of ability to communicate will with patients
- Evidence of presenting information to others
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of leadership experience

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
