An exciting opportunity to join the UKAS accredited Audiology team.  We are looking for a confident, well-motivated, reliable and pro-active individual to support and manage the administrative team across the service.  

Excellent communication skills with proven experience of managing a team. They will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and conflict in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Having experience of recruitment and absence management is essential alongside the ability to coordinate and motivate staff to ensure a consistent standard is delivered. 

Main duties of the job

Line management of the administrative and clerical staff including staff recruitment, training and development.

To contribute to the delivery of ambitious targets by supporting the senior leadership team to continually improve performance within the service and maintain our UKAS accreditation.

To provide operational expertise  and personal administrative support to all members of the service including Head of Service,  Service Manager, Clinical Leads and Outpatient Coordinator.

Manage appraisals and mandatory training compliance .

To provide cover and management support to all members within the speciality in the absence of the service manager.
