Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

Degree (or equivalent) experience in Building Services Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Wiring Regulations Certificate
C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing

Desirable criteria

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Any Amendment)
Undertaken a structured training course in Schneider Ecostruxure
Masters level or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

Essential criteria

Experience within an Estates engineering environment particularly carrying out work on BEMS.
Evidence of continuous professional development to remain up to date with advances in building services engineering.
High level of computer literacy, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Experience of turning PID loops and writing efficient control programs to ensure plant operates in a safe energy efficient manner.

Desirable criteria

Experience of working with Trent IQ3/IQ4 and/or Schneider Ecostruxure
Experience carrying out minor panel modifications.
Experience of working in a healthcare environment.
Experience in managing a BEMS across a wide area Ethernet network covering multiple site.
Experience of using a BEMS to reduce energy costs of plant whilst still maintaining the required set points.
Ability to design graphics within a modern cloud-based BEMS.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

I also consent to the Occupational Health Department confidentially accessing my occupational health records from my current or previous employer in order to check the status of my vaccinations, immunisations s and screening tests as relevant to the post. I understand this is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to me taking up the position at NUH.
Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (£42.90 for enhanced and £22.90 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
