Specialty Pathway Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Specialty Pathway Administrator (SPA) in the Department of Hepatology.
Working as part of a team, the post-holder will provide a high quality and efficient administrative service to consultants and their teams. You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, and be well motivated and reliable.

You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will be able to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.
Accurately transcribe clinical letters using Winscribe, producing high quality work within defined deadlines.
The successful applicant will have obtained 5 GCSE passes which will include English Language at grade C or above , will have a word processing or typing qualification (or relevant experience); NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.
The successful applicant will have excellent audio typing skills and be competent in the use Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. Alongside this, work based experience within hospital or health care setting is desirable but not essential.
