Physiotherapy Team leader – MSK Out-patients

Band 7

Trosolwg o'r swydd

This Band 7 Team leader physiotherapist role will provide leadership for the Queens Medical Centre Outpatient MSK Physiotherapy team based at Leengate. The post-holder will be responsible for leading and developing the service in collaboration with Clinical Specialist physiotherapists and fellow team leaders across other campuses. This role requires skills to inspire and develop the clinical and leadership performance of the team comprised of band 6’s, 5’s and students.

The complex cohort of patients treated at NUH, including spinal and complex chronic pain, requires a team leader with experience and a strong physiotherapeutic skill set in treating these conditions. Your approach will also value the measurement of treatment outcomes and you will be passionate about incorporating evidence based practice and performing audits. Efficient and effective Physiotherapy input with our patients provides clinical support to other specialties especially within the surgical division.  This has the potential to reduce the burden on lengthy surgical waiting lists and consultant appointment times.  This role requires a strong working alliance with our surgical and other MDT colleagues throughout the organisation.

You will regularly lead in-service trainings with your team and with wider teams within the physiotherapy department, the Trust and with community colleagues. .
