Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Attending regular capacity calls and rapid reviews

Oversight of admission and discharges 

Oversight of current pressures within ED and the wider trust

Problem solving to ensure flow at all times

Supporting wards for timely and effective discharges

Essential criteria
  • does the candidate currently undertake the bronze role
  • Does the cadidate have any previous experince in flow and capacity
  • Has the candidate ever been in a role where they have had to make difficult decisions using clinical judgement
  • Displays excellent leadership quality's and excellent values and behaviours
Desirable criteria
  • have the got band 7 experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to perform to a high level under pressure
