Job overview

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and administrative service to senior members of the Theatre team, to assist the smooth and effective performance of their duties and make a direct and positive contribution to the work of the team. The post holder must exercise initiative to organise their own workload within the constraints of defined deadlines.

Main duties of the job

Assist senior members of the team with implementing, maintaining and sustaining lean thinking methodology to improve productivity.

Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the staff within the theatre department, to include monitoring quality and audit activity, data entry and the production of charts and graphs as required.

Assist in the day-to-day administration management of workforce and education activities, to include Mandatory Training Data entry, Qliksense data entry and produce performance reports.

Provide administrative support and timely workforce & information related to the Theatre service as required by Team Leaders and Theatre Matrons.

To provide personal assistant support for senior members of the Theatre team.

This is a cross-site post and postholders will be expected to divide their time between City and QMC Campus as deemed appropriate by the line manager.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent
  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Possess RSA III in WP or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point
  • Minimum of 1 years typing & admin experience.

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Maintain the confidentiality of individuals at all times
  • Sets and achieves high standards for own behaviour and personal presentation
  • Able to clearly and accurately convey written information
