Are you looking at taking the next step in your clinical and leadership career? We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, professional Physiotherapist Team manager with proven clinical skills, knowledge, and experience to join and lead our dedicated community intellectual disability physiotherapy team.
This is an opportunity to diversify and expand your skill set as a physiotherapist to work within and across multidisciplinary teams to enable and drive high quality effective, accessible physiotherapy care which is person and family centred.

Therefore, applicants should have:
Proven clinical, leadership and managerial skills to shape and drive specialist physiotherapy delivery.
A collaborative approach engaging team members and others.
An aptitude to promote and maintain high standards of care through excellent communication, motivation, supervision, and support to develop team members.
The ability to provide professional and specialist advice to contribute to service development and implementation ensuring a needs led physiotherapy service based on best practice.
Be able to take part in the on call rota for the unit.

To effectively manage and coordinate Community Learning Disability Physiotherapy across Nottinghamshire.
To lead on the development and support of training and professional mentorship.
Collaborate and empower to ensure effective delivery of evidence-based practice by the physiotherapy team to people with an Intellectual Disability/Mental Health, their families, and carers.
Ensure compliance with national guidelines and legislation within the field of learning disabilities and Autism and the Physiotherapy profession, ensuring consistent delivery of best practice.
Proactively and effectively contribute to core Directorate operational and Governance agendas/meetings within the care unit.
Undertake workforce plan discussion with managers, staff recruitment, selection, retention, and training needs analysis of physiotherapists.
Ensure professional growth and skill development through managerial and professional supervision and appraisal of physiotherapist facilitating clinical supervision accordingly.
Facilitate and evaluate robust and high-quality clinical placements for learners.

- •HCPC registered.

- •Portfolio of relevant post registration CPD including specialist knowledge of IDD physiotherapy interventions and evaluation

- •Highly specialist applied clinical knowledge as a physiotherapist
- •Knowledge of education of others and identification of training requirement.
- •Applied knowledge of National policy and guidance and impact on local practice inc: of the Care Programme Approach, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty and Safeguarding etc.
- •Applied knowledge and understanding of current legislation and understanding of Clinical risk assessment.

- •Experience of designing and delivering different learning and development opportunities for staff teams.
