Job overview
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Receptionist to join Ward 25. This is a full time position, following a structured shift pattern to meet the needs of the service, including some weekends.
Ward 25 is a 30 bedded ward with both medical and surgical beds, 2 high dependency beds and a Childrens Assessment Unit within the ward footprint. We also have a well-established day-case surgery pathway.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.

Ensure accurate and timely collection of patient-related data at the ward level, including patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Track and manage patient case notes, ensuring they are filed correctly and kept tidy.

Work closely with the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, nursing staff, and all visitors and multidisciplinary team members who visit the ward.

Greet visitors to the ward, handle telephone enquiries, and undertake other clerical and reception duties on the ward.
