The Digital Transformation Unit is seeking an energetic individual, who is ready for a new engagement role, or wanting to develop their current engagement skills to promote and support digital inclusion. Supporting patients and Trust staff to understand, access and utilise different digital platforms to get the best from local health services such as the NHS App and Patient Knows Best. The Digital Inclusion Co-ordinator will work with Trust staff and patient groups to reduce health inequalities by promoting digital inclusion.
This role would suit a person who enjoys working with a variety of people, is self-motivated, and is comfortable understanding and explaining technology to people with differing knowledge. If you are confident and able to work with other agencies, and have got a great way of communicating with people to get them engaged and if you are non-judgemental, compassionate, and happy to engage with people from all walks of life this could be the role for you.

- Significant experience in a service user facing role working to support the needs of said individual and/or their families/carers/significant others
- Experience of project management
- Experience of events management
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience in a healthcare/service environment
- Experience of using IT systems such as EMIS and System One
Contractual Requirements

- Ability to work flexibly, outside normal office hours in order to suit the needs of the customers
- Ability to travel in order to attend meetings as required
- Combination of sitting, standing and walking
- Highly developed keyboard skills with considerable VDU usage
- Requirement to travel extensively within the region and on occasion nationally
- Car driver is essential
