Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a dynamic individual to join our small team in Rostering Services. If you are enthusiastic, hardworking, positive, friendly and approachable then this is the role for you. 

The successful candidate will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point. They will posses a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.  Full training will be provided.

Knowledge Requirements

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of English and Mathematics equivalent to a pass grade at GCSE
  • NVQ Level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent level of experience in a similar working environment to the post duties
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Accurate work outputs and attention to detail
  • Good attendance record
  • Good time management skills
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Team Player willing to support and assist team colleagues
  • Flexible working to meet service demands
Desirable criteria
  • Teaching qualification or experience of IM&T systems training
  • Typing qualification RSA 1 or equivalent

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Significant knowledge of rostering system administration and knowledge of the key principles of roster creation/application
  • Knowledge of NHS HR policy in relation to workforce rostering
  • Knowledge of Information Governance Standards applied to Information systems and data flows
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience of application in a previous job role
  • Knowledge of database management and maintenance of scheduling systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques and experience of application in a previous job role
  • Knowledge of how to set up and deliver in-service training with experience of application in a previous job role

  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Well developed report writing and analytical skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to command respect of multi-disciplinary teams
  • IT literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience of team working
  • Implementing complex change in a clinical setting at the level of multiple service user understanding
