Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for three apprentices to join the patient access team based at King's Mill Hospital

As well as a generous annual leave allowance, full pension options, options for flexible working, our staff can take advantage of a huge range of staff benefits.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have an eye for detail and who will put the patient and customer care at the forefront of the service provided. Potential areas to be covered are Outpatient Reception, Call Centre, Medical Records and Clinic Preparation. You will develop various skills across all areas within the patient access team as a Rotational Admin Clerk.

You must have:

  • A good general education
  •  Good computer skills and the ability to competently navigate our various computer systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility in your approach to work, with a willingness to work in any reception area within the Outpatient setting. You may also be required to cover reception at other Sherwood Forest Hospitals sites.
  • The ability to work any day of the work week and between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm to meet the needs of our patient access services. (Rotas will be provided in advance).
