We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Improvement Officer to join the Improvement Faculty Team; this is an important role in shaping, developing and delivering our service.

The Improvement Faculty Team is a single point of contact for all colleagues seeking help and advice on any aspect of improvement, change management, transformation and financial efficiency.  Our Audit Team also plays a key part within the Improvement Faculty.

Our overarching aims are to:-

a) Improvement the quality of patient care and the experience of those who use our services;

b) Improve clinical outcomes;

c) Improve the working lives of our colleagues; and 

d) Help us to make best use of our resources.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

This is a key role within the Trusts Improvement Faculty Team, working under the guidance and mentorship of the Trusts Improvement and Audit Lead officer as well as clinical and operational staff.

 

The post holder will, amongst other things be asked:

 

  • To provide an effective Audit and Improvement service across Sherwood Forest Hospitals. 
  • To monitor and maintain effective systems and processes for all Clinical Audit outcomes using the assigned database and tracking systems. To be responsible for the updating and maintenance of the Trust’s Clinical Audit database and to ensure that data is entered onto it in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner.
  • To support Divisions in the development of an annual plan for Clinical Audit that meets the Trust’s and national statutory requirements, managing the forward planning at the beginning of each financial year.
