Job overview

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant - Catering  to join our Catering Team at Wathwood Hospital, Wath upon Dearne.

Position available is:

30 hours per week - 6 hour shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Main duties of the job

To assist in the day to day running of the kitchen at Wathwood Hospital providing meals for patients, staff and visitors.  To ensure  high standards of customer service and catering services. The completion of all relevant paperwork in line with trust policies and procedures.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To ensure compliance with the Catering Food Safety Manual, Trust policies and procedures and to the Food Safety Act and Food Hygiene Regulations.

Please note this post does not meet skill level required for a Skilled worker visa. Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker visa will usually need to be in a role which is at Band 3 or above, however please note not all Band 3 roles are capable of sponsorship.   • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or to work towards within the 12 months of employment (site specific)
  • Understanding of a small number of routine work procedures developed through on the job training / experience.
