Job overview

We're looking for a dynamic Administrator to support the District Nursing service in the South Locality. This is a varied and demanding role within a friendly team of clinicians and administrators to ensure patient needs are met and that accurate data and electronic records are maintained. You will be highly organised with the ability to multitask and problem solve in a busy and varied environment.

 

Main duties of the job

This role is based with our Watlington District Nursing team, and will be focused on supporting the team with their daily handovers and general admin tasks.

As an administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day organisation of the district nursing team, and work flexibly to support the locality. You will need excellent IT and communication skills, and be reliable and dedicated. You will be providing support for our clinical staff, this will involve processing emails and uploading them to the clinical database. In this varied role, you will support the team in their handover and all administrative tasks. There will be opportunities to work directly with clinicians and other administrative colleagues within the locality. You will be require to maintain equipment and stock supplies, update electronic patient records, keep excellent standards within the office that enable quick and easy access for clinical paperwork.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated skilled administrator who is confident with multiple electronic systems. This role is available as a full time post or part time. For part time there will need to be minimum of 4.5 hours a day over 5 days a week, encompassing the hours of 12-2pm.
