Job overview
We are looking for a dynamic Operational Support Manager to support the Community Rehabilitation pathway at Abingdon Community Hospital in a part time capacity (22.5 hours per week). This role is varied and fast paced and the successful applicant will need to be able to adapt their style to this need. If you think you have what it takes to join our team, please apply. Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to effectively manage their own workload, prioritising multiple projects and tasks appropriately to meet the needs of the Trust, the Community Hospital and the Outpatient Department against associated deadlines.
The post holder will also be required to action the duties listed below:

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Manage activities and procedures to ensure a high-quality service is provided to our patients, their families, clinicians and all stakeholders for the Community Hospital and Outpatient Department.
To line manage the administration team, delivering an effective and efficient service to the Community Hospital and the Outpatient Department.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of working experience.
- Recognised qualification in Business & Administration / Management or equivalent level of working experience.

- Basic knowledge of project management principles.

- Proven experience in office management.
- Proven experience of managing staff.
- Budget management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of interacting and communicating at all levels of the organisation, including Senior Managers, Directors and Clinicians.
Desirable criteria
- Previously worked in a similar position within public sector.
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment.
- Data analysis and interpretation skills.
