Could your nursing career be with us?

Due to career progression within our district nursing service, we are able to offer an exceptional opportunity for registered nurses who have proven leadership experience to join our innovative, dedicated, and supportive team delivering outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire.

The District Nursing service in Oxfordshire is at the heart of developments in community care, as per the NHS Long Term Plan. A crucial part of the integrated community plans is recognition of the value of the District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Qualification for District Nursing Team Leaders, as advocated by The Queen’s Nursing Institute, The King’s Fund, and the RCN.

Our team leaders are passionate about community nursing and relish the opportunity to use their skills, experience, and knowledge to provide nursing care in people’s own homes.  They are enthusiastic and take pride in leading their team to deliver proactive, caring, safe and excellent standards of patient care to their local communities.  Our team leaders work autonomously, deliver high quality and evidence-based nursing care, see problem-solving as a positive challenge, and are creative in many varied and unpredictable clinical situations. There are continuous developments within the community that will open your eyes to a whole new and exciting world of nursing.
