We are recruiting for an Estates Manager to oversee management, performance and delivery of Soft Facilities services across the Trust.
This is a full time role based at our HQ in Littlemore where you'll be providing operational support and leading on PEAT inspections, waste management, and deep cleans on wards, whilst ensuring compliance with government legislation, waste laws, and CQC standards.
You'll be key in developing and managing policies, procedures, and contract service levels, contributing to the Trust's strategic objectives. You'll also be responsible for performance reporting and effective management of directly employed and contracted Soft FM staff across multiple sites.

This role requires operational support working across all Oxfordshire and community sites as well as being able to travel to all Trust locations. Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for managing the Administration Team, Porters, Post Porter, Drivers, Domestics, Hairdresser, Health Centre Co-ordinators To ensure the continuous delivery of comprehensive services, including recruitment, appraisals, disciplinary and grievance issues, training and development, sickness absence monitoring.
- Manage staff accommodation in compliance with the Housing Act and Trust procedures. To be responsible for addressing improper use of accommodation services, complaints and landlord requests relating to any evictions, which may result in having to communicate in a hostile, antagonistic or highly emotive atmosphere.
- Accountable for the delivery of all contracts. To ensure that the contractor meets requirements in respect of health and safety policies and risk assessments and that any breaches are rectified and notified in accordance with Trust procedure. To be responsible for ensuring all legal and legislative requirements are met regarding the contract to ensure the Trust is not placed at risk of litigation.
- Record and ensure complaints are rectified in a timely manner. Recognise trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Chair contract performance meetings, leading, involvement, co-ordination, and participation in internal and external meetings
