Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist, to work within our mixed gender pre-discharge forensic service.
The position will be based at Lambourn House, within the Littlemore Mental Health Centre site, Oxford. Lambourn is a 15-bedded, male and female low secure forensic pre-discharge unit. This is a unique setting where the team work closely with the inpatient wards and also the community to support a successful transition on from hospital.
This role includes RSU Allowance of £1,446 per annum on top of your salary.
Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist you will manage a defined caseload and provide Occupational Therapy that is evidence based and follows client centred principles. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating the outcome of interventions and documenting all stages of the process.
You will develop skills and knowledge through participation in the Flyer (preceptorship) Programme and other post-graduate opportunities.

- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of an appropriate OT model

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
