THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS DUE TO FUNDING.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Information Governance Team at Powys Teaching Health Board. The post holder needs to be motivated and an enthusiastic team player with excellent verbal, written communication skills, ability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritise workload.
They will play a crucial role in supporting the co-ordination of Freedom of Information requests. Be expected to provide a wide range of administrative support services in delivering of the Information Governance Workplan. Maintain realistic and manageable diaries Team Managers. Arrange meetings and set up any rooms/equipment required, assist in the preparation of reports/presentations, communicate complex and sensitive information with a wide range of staff internally and externally, receive, sort and prioritise mails and emails, redirecting as appropriate.Posses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. Be experienced in producing and distributing a variety of documents including; minutes, agendas, letters, and be able to analyse and interpret information. Must have keyboard skills, ability to work as part of a team and be able to manage your own workload efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
- Experience of using computer-based management information systems
- Experience and an ability to prepare detailed reports
- Experience of using Microsoft Office software
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in an environment where both tact and diplomacy has had to be used.
- Knowledge of the structure and operation of the Health Board

Essential criteria
- Advanced Keyboard Skills equivalent to RSA 2/3
- An excellent communicator at all levels within and outside an organisation including an ability to communicate effectively with patients and members of the public
Aptitude & Abilities

- Able to work without supervision to achieve the objectives of the post
