Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.

This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the newly appointed Chief Pharmacist and the wider Medicines Management Senior Team at Powys Teaching Health Board. We are looking for a highly organised, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual to provide high-level administrative support.

Qualifications and / or Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • HND or NVQ Level 3 / or equivalent level qualification/experience plus literacy and numeracy at L2
  • Advanced Keyboard Skills (e.g. RSA level III)
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant demonstrable proven experience of working in an office in an administrative role
  • Experience of recruitment administration systems and processes
  • Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance
  • Advanced keyboard skills with the proven ability to produce reports, spreadsheets and correspondence
  • Minute taking and recording
  • Experience of working autonomously
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Awareness of policies and procedures relating to dealing with confidential data both personal and organisational
  • Thorough understanding of secretarial procedures
  • Working knowledge of filing/data systems including records management
  • Knowledge of administrative and organisational procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience
