Job overview
We require a caring and enthusiastic individual to work part time as a Support Services Assistant within the Domestic team.
This is a 13 hour post working .
This post will be based at Welshpool Hospital.
You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
There will be the expectation, when required, to clean in other departments.
Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given
Main duties of the job
You will support the local delivery of hotel services domestic and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- To have gained sufficient experience in the cleaning industry to be able to demonstrate an understanding of safe working practices and techniques that would meet the requirements within this role.

- To be able to follow instructions and organise own work to meet the team objectives, adapting work to meet any changing priorities which may need to meet tight timeframes.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
