An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Patient Services Co-ordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to services within the North West Locality. It is essential that you have the ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.

Main duties of the job
This exciting administrative post will provide admin support across a range of services including support to community nursing therapy teams/ DAART (diagnostic assessment access to rehabilitation and treatment), minor injuries and community reception desk duties.
Applicants will need to have good attention to detail, have a mature flexible attitude and be reliable and consistent with working patterns.
You will need to have good communications skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and as a lone worker is essential.
Applicants will need to have the ability to deal with first line enquiries from clients, carers and professionals and communicate information to clinical staff. This includes taking admission avoidance referrals and informing clinical staff for triaging.
You will be experienced in managing and prioritising your own workload.

Essential criteria
- Good Standard of Education, GSCE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Good IT skills to ECDL standard.
- RSA 2 typing (or equivalent qualification / experience).
Experience

- RiO Super user training or experience of RiO and willingness to complete training.
- Experience of Word Processing, Internet and Computer Systems.
- Experience in working to deadlines.
- Good written and verbal skills.
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise and communicate with people at all levels.
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to use initiative appropriately with only little supervision.
- Able to work as part of a team.
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
