Who we’re looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Catering Technician to join a highly motivated, dedicated catering team. Successful candidates will be reliable, flexible, good team players, with previous catering experience preferred and who possess good interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidates will be part of a team providing inpatient meals.

The main shift we are recruiting to is:

  • Monday to Sunday - 16:30am - 19:30pm

Contracted hours available:

12 hour post over 4 days per week 

(Salary of £11.45 per hour)

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a busy team working to tight timescales. You will be required to undertake a wide range of duties including food preparation, cleaning and meal service duties within the kitchens, possibly retail outlets. Completion of audit forms associated with food safety, financial policy & procedures will be required.

Qualifications/Training

Essential criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 in relevant subject Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or a willingness to complete within 3 months of commencing in the post.
Desirable criteria
  • List what other what qualifications / training or equivalent experience would be desirable for this role but that is not essential for the person applying to have to be able to undertake this role

Experience
