The Breast team at The Royal United Hospitals Bath have a reputation for high quality patient care, education and research. This post has recently become available and represents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and well-regarded team.

Knowledge and previous experience within breast surgery or cancer care is advantageous to apply for this post.

Main duties of the job

You will be a skilled, autonomous practitioner working as a core member of the Breast unit multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to patients with breast surgical or oncological issues. You will possess or develop the skills, competence, expertise and clinical decision-making abilities required to plan, co-ordinate and prescribe treatment for patients. The post holder will fulfil the expectations and core capabilities of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner as set out in the Multi-professional framework for advanced clinical practice in England (HEE, 2017) the RUH Trust Framework for Advanced Practice and the Trust ACP Job Description. This means working in conjunction with the 4 pillars of advanced practice.

You will provide clinical leadership for the development of integrated patient pathways in the team, which are in line with recognised best practice and evidence base, working closely with stakeholders and care providers.
