Are you professional, friendly and responsive to new ways of working, and looking for a new challenge in catering management? We've an excellent opportunity to join us at the RUH to lead our catering team.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced Senior Catering Lead to join our catering team who provide services to our patients, and to our staff and visitors. The catering team serve over 50,000 meals every month, and operate three retail outlets across the Combe Park site.
The Senior Catering Lead will provide strategic leadership to the catering team, taking the service forward to the next level as well as providing assurance that the service is safe and efficient.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate, Level 4, or equivilent
- Degree/Diploma Level 4 in Facilities or Hospitality Management
Desirable criteria
- H&S Qualification
- Additional HACCP food safety training
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant (recent) management experience in large food environment
- Significant experience of managing a workforce
Desirable criteria
- NHS Catering Managment
- Budget management and income generation skills
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
