In this exciting new position, you will join the  Pathology leadership team comprising the Clinical Director, Cell Pathology and Blood Sciences Laboratory Managers. Together we will deliver an excellent Pathology Service that is focused on the patients we serve and the hospital services we support.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated to learn, is able to work with our highly-skilled teams and can provide leadership and management support to our Scientific Managers and Clinical teams. You do not need to have experience working in Pathology to apply.

We support and develop our staff, embrace innovations and ensure value for money. This is initially a fixed term position, but we are working towards a long-term commitment.

If you have experience at a senior level and a track record of delivering benefits, we would love to hear from you.

Our Pathology department comprises the disciplines of Clinical Biochemistry, Point of Care, Cellular Pathology, Haematology and Transfusion, Immunology and Infection Sciences. Main duties of the job

You will manage staff groups, and deliver change and quality improvement projects as well as represent Pathology across the Trust and across difference systems we support.

We are part of Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the West of England Pathology Network with both having far reaching diagnostic strategies that will require implementation.
