Looking to expand your psychological skills with training opportunities? Then this is an exciting time to join our expanding team of qualified and in-training psychological professionals to work with older people.  Based at one of the CMHT teams, but working across all localities, we are looking for a reflective clinical psychologist who can work with enthusiasm and creativity. You will be supported by a consultant clinical psychologist, and there can be formalised training opportunities for the successful candidate such as structured clinical management, a diploma in DBT or CAT or a MSC in neuropsychology. There are opportunities to attend and chair reflective practice sessions with the older people’s psychology team, to attend neuro supervision with the wider Trust OP Psychology team and to be part of a wide network of psychological professionals across Doncaster, with new investment, including CEN practitioners, systemic practitioners, CBT therapists, CAPs, and counselling psychologists. 
We particularly welcome those interested in supporting the teams to mobilise a complex emotional needs pathway for older people, or those with an interest in cognitive impairments within older people and YODs, or those with a flair for working with individuals with complex emotional needs/trauma but not necessarily within older adult populations.     

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

•    Accountable for own professional practice in the delivery of specialist care to clients with complex emotional or mental health needs and/or cognitive impairments across (Doncaster) older people’s community mental health teams. 
•    To provide psychological and / or neuropsychological assessment of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of data from a variety of sources.
•    To provide (where appropriate) clinical supervision and training to colleagues within the designated psychology service and to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
•    To be compassionate in meeting the needs of clients, their carers and families.
•    (Where appropriate) to undertake formal research / service evaluations and, where suitably trained, to act as field supervisor for doctorate clinical psychology trainees. 
•    To be pro-active in continual service improvement.
•    To promote, at all times, a positive image of people with mental health difficulties, of the older adult and psychology services and the wider Trust.
