Detailed job description and main responsibilities

• To work as an independent practitioner have accountability and responsibility for your own caseload
• To work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues providing interventions at the clinical base, clients homes or other appropriate venues
• To demonstrate skills within assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care /  treatment packages for children, young people and families
• To demonstrate clinical practice over a range of evidence based interventions.
• To work in collaboration with colleagues working in Specialist CAMHS and the wider education and social care network to provide a holistic package of care / treatment for identified children, young people and families
• To contribute towards MDT team development by attending daily huddle meetings to ensure holistic approaches for young people accessing care.
• To maintain confidentiality of information regarding children, young people and families
• Provide and receive complex or sensitive information where there are barriers to understanding and to be proactive, having the ability to pre- empt work with and overcome barriers to communication
• To work within and promote collaborative and partnership working, with both colleagues and the client group
• To promote and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships throughout the Team and wider services, both internal and external to CAMHS
• To promote and maintain effective communication with children, young people and families, ensuring lines of communication are open to them so that they are able to participate fully within their care.
