An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Team at Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We have a fixed term (12 months) vacancy for a junior Physiotherapist to join the Burns, Orthopaedics, Plastics and Limb Reconstruction Team.

We are a Major Trauma Centre, Regional burns unit and provider of elective surgery for children from across the  country. The post involves working on ward 2 and burns, on the Theatre Admissions unit for day case surgery, in pre-operative assessment clinics, and outpatient clinics. The successful candidate would enjoy working within an experienced and dedicated multi-disciplinary team.

You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The successful candidate will be responsible to the Head of Service or Deputy.

You will find a strong commitment to professional training and development, together with friendly peer group support.

Applicants should be registered with the HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

• The post holder will be responsible for the routine physiotherapy assessment and management of a delegated caseload within the clinical specialties of burns & plastics. They will plan and prioritise their caseload accordingly.
• The post holder will be encouraged to work collaboratively with other team members and be supervised regularly by senior staff.
• The post holder will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team where shared skills will form part of the working practice.
• The post holder will work as part of the Sunday working burns and orthopaedics rota.
