Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in a rewarding environment? The Pharmacy department at Sheffield Children’s Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team and help us deliver a top-quality service to patients.

What You’ll Need:

  • GPHC Approved L2 Pharmacy Qualification (or willingness to work towards).

  • GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Team focussed, and able to complete tasks independently

Previous hospital experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Dispensary Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the receipt, processing, and provision of pharmaceutical supplies in the Stores department.

  • Help with ward drug top-ups.

  • Work on the Dispensary Reception, receiving prescriptions and providing excellent customer service.

  • Handle busy enquiry lines

  • Contribute to a safe and efficient pharmacy service for patients.
