Planning Team Administrative Support Assistant

We are looking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to the scheduling and allocation team through developing and maintaining efficient and effective administrative support systems and processes.

The role purpose is to support the Operational Shift Co-ordinators and ACSW Planners in the day to day co-ordination of the Clinical Support Workers workload within the Community Intermediate Care Service.

 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To provide confidential support to the ACSW team office through developing and maintaining efficient and effective administrative support systems and processes.

To support the Operational Shift Co-Ordinator & ACSW Planners in the day to day co-ordination of the Advanced Clinical Support Workers workload within the Community Intermediate Care Service.

To provide effective and efficient administrative duties on a daily basis, including updating excel rotas with ACSW working patterns.

Candidate must be able to work a varied shift pattern of 10 hour shifts covering 06:00 - 20:00 / 365 days a year.

Active Recovery CICS (Community Intermediate Care Service) is an Intermediate Care service whose aim is to prevent unnecessary hospital admission and support early discharge from hospital to the adult population of Sheffield.  Active Recovery CICS is a multi-disciplinary team providing short-term intensive rehabilitation and care needs following a holistic assessment by generic assessors.  Active Recovery CICS is a city wide service providing rehabilitation to patients within their own homes. 

The ACSW team is specifically responsible for supporting clinical staff by providing high quality care and rehabilitation to patients in their own homes.

Qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent experience/ qualifications) in English and Mathematics, at grade C/4 or above
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • OCR II or equivalent in Word Processing/typing or equivalent experience/ qualifications.

  • Processing/typing or equivalent experience/ qualifications.

Experience

  • Appropriate experience in an administrative role within an office environment.
  • Experience of working in a public facing role.
  • Experience of initiating and setting up monitoring systems to record appropriate information.

  • Experience of working within a healthcare setting.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of / experience of using information and/or customer service systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Previous experience of Patient Systems: SystmOne (area specific software)
