An exciting opportunity has arisen for an appropriately skilled and experienced individual to join Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent’s Integrated Care Board as the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) Support Manager.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational management, development, transformation, and performance of AACC.
The AACC Service, support the delivery of a sustainable health care future across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent integrated care system (ICS).
This will result in set project milestones that must be delivered to cost, quality and time. Key stakeholder engagement at all levels is a key element of the successful delivery of the programme.
Working for our organisation
The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning functions; managing the NHS budget and arranging the provision of health services in the geographical area.
Location Home based/hybrid working (most of posts).
Travel on occasions to a Hub location with at least 1 days notice
New starters are expected to collect IT equipment, from offices in Stoke-on-Trent, and if based at home are required to have appropriate desk/chair/ relevant equipment in compliance with DSE regulations
Posts at Band 8c and above, will take part in the On-call rota, flexible over 7 days, supporting the System Control Centre, with full training provided.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post-holder will have responsibility for small- scale projects that will be complex in nature, and they will support workstreams that are part of a much larger programme of work led by the Director of Nursing for All Age Continuing Care.
The post holder will work from home and will be required to regularly travel across the entire geography of the ICB’s footprint. The post holder will need access to a car and hold a clean driving licence.
This post will report into the Head of Service for AACC.

- Further training or significant experience in project management, financial management or supporting change management processes
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences
- Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues, and recommend and appropriate course of action to address the issues
- Adaptability, flexibility and ability to cope with uncertainty and change

- Skills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to extract key messages from complex analysis
