Job overview

Permanent Community Staff Nurse Positions

We currently have vacancies for Community Staff Nurses in two of our North Alliance Community Nursing teams.
Newcastle ABC PCN based at Bradwell- 1.0WTE
Newcastle Central PCN based at Milehouse- 0.8WTE

We are looking for Qualified Nurses to join our busy, friendly teams. These posts are open to newly qualified applicants.

Our Community Nursing teams assess, plan and deliver nursing care to patients within their own homes, in line with evidence based practice. Many people would be unable to live at home without the support they receive from the community nursing teams and community services are admitting patients with a more complex acuity than ever before, with increasingly specialist treatment and care being provided by highly skilled staff.

It is a privilege to care for patients in their own homes, and by joining our team you will be able to experience the difference this makes to our families within the community.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early depending on the volume of applications we receive.

Due to the nature of community working, ability to travel across the patch to provide care to patients is essential.

You will receive support into the role through induction, training and beyond. There will be opportunities for personal development and career progression if desired.
