Care professionals required – Complex Care

The ICS People Team are working in partnership with the Care Market Development Team of Staffordshire County Council to promote careers in Social Care.  In order to support the market, we are recruiting caring and compassionate carers, to work in busy teams within local care homes in and around Staffordshire to assist the resident in activities of daily living, promoting their comfort.

Although the roles will initially be temporary, we are promoting our permanent recruitment service to local providers, and our staff will have access to permanent roles within care homes and be paid to attend 2 shadow shifts as working interviews.  These roles can be full time or part time however we are unable to offer sponsorship for these roles at this time

You will be working in partnership with other health professionals and agencies to meet the requirements of the residents.  You will have access to their support plan which will give you all the information you need to do the job.
As you will be working closely with your residents, any changes that you notice will need to be reported so that care can be reviewed.  You will also be required to prompt residents to take medication and assist with intimate personal care such as bathing, hygiene continence care, skin, integrity, and meal preparation

The Integrated Care System, ICS, is a Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent partnership with NHS Trusts and Care organisations known as “the System”, finding the right people for the right job roles.

The People Hub, hosted by MPFT, works in partnership with NHS Trusts, Local Authorities and care organisations across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, finding the right people for the right job roles in response to local needs.  We recruit caring and compassionate people or ‘Reserves’, who can provide clinical and non-clinical support to busy teams in a variety of settings.  You’ll be joining a community of likeminded people ready to help and support the local health and care economy. You will have access to a variety of job opportunities of varying length; some placements may be up to 12 months whilst others are more ad hoc and in response to urgent demand.  You don’t need to have had experience within the health or care sector to apply for many of our roles!  We’ll provide you with the training or upskilling you need, and we’ll share placements with you that match your preferences and can fit around your existing commitments.  You’ll also find that our rates of pay are highly competitive
