Nursing Assistant
Band 3
Job overview
Are you interested in developing your carer?
We are looking to develop a nursing assistant from a Band 2 to a Band 3 position, where you will be trained in all areas of patient care - pre/peri/post endoscopy/cystoscopy/bronchoscopy and breath test procedures.
You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times, working within the set parameters, communicating and documenting appropriately ensuring relevant information is communicated to other members of the multi-disciplinary team in a professional and timely manner.
The role will involve staff understanding the aspects of care they are involved in, following appropriate training, keeping patients safe and protected.
- Are you compassionate, reliable, motivated and ready for a challenge and willing to undertake additional training/education?
- If not already achieved a relevant level 3 certificate, you must be willing to undertake further academic training within the next 12-18months.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to join our dynamic and friendly team and provide safe and supportive care to patients, relatives and their loved ones. We are looking for people who are compassionate and feel passionately about providing a level of care they would wish for their family and friends.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will be based at County Hospital, Staffordshire (maybe required to work at Royal Stoke Hospital). As provision of care is a 24 hours, 7 days a week career, you may be required to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Enhancements will be paid for unsocial hours.
Appointments to the post will commence at the lowest salary point, respectively, unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services.
Please note that the application process for these posts will close when sufficient applications are received.
