Staff Nurse

Band 5

Job overview

The Skin department at the University Hospital of North Midlands provides a dedicated service to Dermatology and Plastics patients both at Royal Stoke and County Hospital. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a  Band 5 Staff Nurse at the Royal Stoke site

The Dermatology department moved into a new state of the art facility in 2012 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and provides out-patient care to the people of North Staffordshire and surrounding areas. In 2017 we built a new state of the art skin department at County Hospital to provide out-patient care to both Dermatology and Plastic patients within the same regional areas.

Main duties of the job

This is a busy and challenging clinical area, which provides a full range of Dermatological and Plastics services such as phototherapy, minor surgical procedures,  and a variety of dressings along with supporting/assisting the skin team. We are currently undergoing a transformation so there is no better time to join our team.

If you have experience in an acute hospital setting, are a dynamic, enthusiastic person with experience and/or an interest in Dermatology and Plastics, have the ability to work well within a highly motivated team and can deliver high quality nursing care, we would like to hear from you.
