Job overview

We are currently looking for a band 5 registered nurse to come and work within our team in ENT clinic. If you are a Registered Nurse who enjoys a fast paced surgical clinic then this speciality is for you. Training and education will be provided to assist you and all newly qualified nurses will undergo a thorough preceptorship package.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurses on ENT clinic, a fast paced unit specialising in ENT, Plastics, Max Fax and Oncology offering a wealth of learning opportunities.

There will be the opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge within ENT. A good working relationship with consultants. We currently offer Weekday working unless initiative is required.

 The Clinic can offer a full induction package with a supernumerary period.  Training and competencies within the specialities and on-going support and professional development. 

The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm to work within a motivated team to provide high quality care through evidence based practice and innovation. The candidate is preferred to have surgical experience and basic computer skills along with excellent communication skills; experience in tracheostomy care is also desirable but not essential. They will work under the guidance of the Sister and mentor.
