All rotations are 6 months in length and include clinical and dispensary commitments plus speciality project and development work.

Our pharmacy department has excellent links with the Keele University Pharmacy and Medical Schools and there are opportunities to gain experience in delivering formal and informal teaching to pharmacy and medical students and to undertake research.

We support every one of our pharmacists with opportunities to explore and develop their own individual interests as part of building their own, unique, career portfolio. Training time is allocated for a wide range of courses and opportunities for example all band 7 rotational specialist pharmacists have been supported to complete the UKCPA Critical Care module within the past 12 months and a number have undertaken the Trust’s Gateway to Management and Gateway to Leadership courses.
