Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent customer facing experience and interpersonal skills to work as a Receptionist within Emergency Department at the Royal Stoke site.
Main duties of the job
Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. You ideally will have the experience of a customer focused role and be familiar with reception/administrative processes and practices. Experience of working within the NHS is desirable.
You will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE’s or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- NVQ I or II or its equivalent in Customer Care.
- AMSPAR diploma in Healthcare Reception.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Proven experience of working in a customer facing role
Desirable criteria
- Previous reception experience within a healthcare setting
- Proven experience of working in a face-to-face reception environment
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Keyboard Skills
- Basic PC awareness
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Emergency Department IT System
