Community Midwife

Band 6

Trosolwg o'r swydd

A number of opportunities have arisen for dedicated and committed midwives to join the community midwifery team.

Community midwifery supports a wide geographical area. There are 5 community hubs based in community settings. Community midwives benefit from working within small, well-led teams. Each midwife has an allocated caseload and we maximise locality working by utilising children's centres, community hospitals and public buildings.

  • To maintain your intrapartum skills you will be supported to work on the Midwife Birth Centre for 1 shift each alternate week.
  • We are looking for midwives who already have a PIN number and are passionate about delivering high quality, safe care to women.
  • We have permanent contracts for enthusiastic midwives to provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
  • You will need to be versatile and have excellent communication skills. Team working is an essential part of the role.
  • There is an expectation that the role will involve unsociable hours and on call.
