Deputy Ward Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who have skills and knowledge in Renal medicine  as a Deputy Ward manager. 

Ward 124 is a 32 bedded unit which includes 4 Flexi beds for day case activity.  Staff are trained to deliver haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

If you are a quality driven person wishing to deliver a high quality service to our patients and their families, have the ability to work well within a dynamic ward environment and develop specialist nursing skills, we would love to hear from you.

The role of Deputy Ward Manager will be to support the Ward Manager in the leadership and management of the team while having the relevant clinical skills to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to our patients.

  • • Evidence of degree level study in health/nursing related studies

  • • Recognised qualification in teaching & acessing

Knowledge, skills, training & experience

  • • Experience in a neurological speciality as a qualified nurse
  • • Experience in hyperacute care
  • • 1 years of management/leader ship experience

  • • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience to include 18 months in Stroke
