Are you a dynamic individual looking for a new challenge? The post holder will be a proactive role model who leads in the clinical environment on the provision of clinical education and assessment of competence in Trust Wide supporting and Improving Together Suite of Workstreams. You will play an essential role in the development and implementation of education to ensure evidence based quality care is delivered to our patients.
Main duties of the job
Nurse educators combine clinical expertise and a passion for teaching into rich and rewarding careers. Nurse educators play a pivotal role in strengthening the nursing workforce, serving as role models and providing the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practice.
Nurse educators will be co-responsible with the Education Lead for designing, implementing, evaluating and revising clinical education. They are critical players in assuring quality educational experiences preparing the Nursing workforce for the diverse, ever-changing health care environment. They are responsible for the facilitation and delivery of mandatory and departmental nurse education and training within their designated area, working collaboratively with the 7 Senior Sisters, Quality Nurses and Matron.
