Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working with a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, Trust Doctors, Specialty Trainees, Core Trainees and Foundation Trainees. Each post has a generic clinical component in the relevant area.
- To participate in the provision of care to patients admitted to the Neurosciences Wards.
- To assist in ward management including electronic discharges.
- To participate in the management of day to day care of stroke patients
- To assist in the undertaking of full clinical computerised audit within the department. This would be encouraged for desirable candidates.
- To provide on-call cover for emergencies

Accountable to: Clinical Director
Responsible to: Clinical Lead
Hours: In accordance with ST3+ rota

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Full registration GMC
- MBBS or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- ALS certification
- Awards/distinctions whilst studying for 1st degree
Clinical Experience
Essential criteria
- Foundation competencies or equivalent for those with full GMC registration
- Appropriate skills & experience to demonstrate in the chosen specialty minimum equivalent to ST3.
- 3 years continuous post-qualification experience in the relevant specialty
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
