We are seeking a well-motivated and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our Band 5 staff.

 

We have rotations which are 4 months duration in the following specialities:

 

  • Medicine (older person and General Medicine)
  • Respiratory medicine (MADU and respiratory wards)
  • Surgery/Critical care
  • Vascular
  • Orthopaedics (Trauma and Elective)
  • MSK OP (Hydro, Gym and Main department)
  • Stroke (Acute)
  • Paediatrics
  • Community

 

Main duties of the job

The Physiotherapy department at Frimley has a proactive approach to rehabilitation within the acute setting and we are looking for the right candidates to help promote the role of Physiotherapy. Under the guidance of an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially within a friendly and supportive environment where excellence is encouraged.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

·       To maintain a high standard of clinical care using evidence based practices and evaluate the outcomes.

·       To be responsible as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant specialist clinical workload

·       To undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients using investigative and analytical skills and seek guidance from senior staff as required.

·       To devise an individualised physiotherapy management and/or treatment plan, using clinical reasoning skills to utilise a range of treatment options in formulating a programme of care.

  • evidence of acute placements in NHS as a student
  • HCPC registration confirmed before April 2025
