Job overview

This is an exciting time for the Trust, as we launch our new ambitious Trust Strategy and start to plan as part of the New Hospitals Programme and Frimley Park Hospital.

You will work alongside leaders in the coordination and publication of our new Trust Strategy and supporting strategies which will steer the trust through the next five years.

We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds with a proven track record in strategy work/ transformation or operations, whether from a consulting firm or in-house. Healthcare/NHS experience is a plus but not essential. You might already be in a managerial role or looking to step into your first strategy position.

Main duties of the job

This role will require someone to work independently across the organisation and with our leaders and teams to ensure all our strategies and plans are aligned internally and within our System partners where applicable.

Key Skills:
Self-starter, skilled problem solver with a can-do attitude, able to deliver at pace and in a highly pressured environment.
Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills.

Excellent, engaging communicator.

Able to work across multi-functional teams to draw key themes.
Experience of initiating and delivering complex cross-organisation projects.

Experience in managing up and across. This role will require someone to work closely with the teams and senior leaders but also with peers and stakeholders, so being able to adapt style to stakeholders will be key.

Strong literacy and MS PowerPoint skills ensuring large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data can be distilled and communicated in a simple, effective way.

Here at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, we know how important it is to have a healthy work life balance; this benefits not only individuals but the patients we care for too.

We encourage applications from people who wish to work on a flexible basis, recognising that flexibility may mean a range of different working patterns and hours, we do our utmost to work with our staff to meet their needs and the needs of our service and its users.
