Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in February 2025. Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population.

We are excited to be recruiting an Administrator for our new hospital to help us grow our established and experienced team.
We are looking for a pro-active, conscientious, and reliable person to work as a full-time Ward Administrator in our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting time to join the team, as the key part of the role in the first few months will be to work with the operational, management, clinical and project team to set up the wards for operational readiness at our brand-new mental health inpatient service in Chertsey.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in some project support work before becoming the Ward Administrator. Whilst the role is based at Chertsey, on Ashford and St Peters Hospital site, the first few months you would also be required to be able to work from either Chertsey or Trust HQ in Leatherhead, depending on service needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality administrative and secretarial service to the multidisciplinary team. You will need to have good organisational, time management and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and experience in a busy office environment and be experienced in use of Microsoft Office. We are looking for a person who is hard working, flexible and able to prioritise their work, and who wants to be part of a highly motivated team.
