Job overview

Frimley Health Foundation Trust has an exciting vacancy for a permanent Band 6 Gastroenterology Outpatient Dietitian for 36 hours per week.

 

The postholder will work within the speciality of gastroenterology, providing dietetic advice for outpatients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including IBD and exclusive oral nutrition, as well as general outpatient clinics. This role will involve some face-to-face clinics but opportunities to work remotely will likely be available. 

 

This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge within this specialism. The successful applicant will develop strong links with the gastroenterology multi-disciplinary team and the wider dietetics team across Frimley Health Foundation Trust. They will also be encouraged and supported to work on audit and quality improvement projects relating to their role to promote service development.

Main duties of the job

Main duties:

·         To provide high-quality dietetics assessment and management of gastroenterology and general outpatients

·         To act as a specialist resource for the Gastroenterology team and wider dietetic team 

·         To undertake audit and quality improvement projects to support service development, policy implementation and monitoring of standards of care/practice

·         To be flexible in times of increased capacity to the service
