Job overview

Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) and the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RSFT) have deployed the Cerner solution across both organisations within the same Cerner domain. To build system changes in line with the needs of the service when requested through the Service Request and Request for Change process, and where required, liaise with the Cerner Application Management Services (AMS).

To assist with the development of software and lead on areas of technical expertise in line with the changing needs of the Trust, ensuring a clear understanding of procedure and protocol as well as ensuring patient safety and quality at all times.

To assist with planning upgrade processes and assist with implementation, providing technical advice to the users to enable them to deliver the potential benefits of the system.

To undertake specific system administration activities to ensure the smooth running of the suite of Cerner administrative and clinical applications.

To assist with the development and understanding of the operational system support requirements of the Cerner system.
