Main duties of the job

You will be joining our friendly supportive team of 25 Consultants, 5 Registrars, 83 radiographers, 24 nursing and assistant staff and 25 administrators.

Our Diagnostic Strategy includes expanding our services and resources of both staff and equipment within this hospital and in the community, which will in turn support career progression of our staff.

There has been substantial investment in radiology and in the last 12 months, our capital projects have included a fantastic MRI suite with the latest patient experience environment and incorporating 2 Philips MRI scanners, a 1.5T and a 3T both with Acquisition Acceleration Technology.

We have redesigned our interventional suite and installed the latest Siemens IR unit. As part of the Surrey and Sussex Consortium, we have transitioned to Sectra PACS.

We have refurbished and expanded our Radiology department at Milford Community Hospital to include both DR plain film and ultrasound facilities. Community based MRI and CT on this site are due to complete in 2025.

We are proud of our achievements and we are investing in our colleagues through our commitment to supporting professional development as well as investing more than £45 million in our physical environment and new equipment in the next few years. There has never been a better time to join us.

Although it isn't the Trusts normal practice, adverts may close early, so you are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible.
